Chaos

This week has been nothing short of chaotic. With a major skunk smell situation (fromd39oqx2-943fe0bd-b583-49eb-bc49-2fd48a3c98d6 our dog getting sprayed on Tuesday morning) in our home throwing a wrench in many plans, it has been hard to feel balanced and in control. However, it is through times like these I find new ways to grow and cope with the unexpected.

Dealing with this balance of homeowner responsibilities and keeping up with my business was a challenge. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and had the good sense to realize that there was no way I was going to be able to do it all every day this week. Last night I had to skip out on my second gym class of the day to bust out a couple more hours of work. Today I opted out of a coffee meeting with my networking group in order to get caught up before the weekend.

Chaos never has perfect timing. Chaos doesn’t care if had plans or if it is inconvenient for your life right now. So, you have no choice but to roll with it. When these moments strike don’t get discouraged, it won’t be like this forever, and you will make it through. Just remember to give yourself grace and don’t try to do it all. Choose to grow through what you go through.
