This is hard. I am not lying when I say I am protective over the things I have poured my heart and soul in to. I am like a mama bear protecting her cubs.
It can be tough to let go of things in our lives that we have put a lot of work into. These things can come in all shapes and forms, but we have to learn when to hang on and when to let go. If it no longer suits you, it is probably time to let it go.
Have you ever worked on a project that you ended up not having the final say on? Or you had a realization that you need a manager to run your day to day business that you built from the ground up? This stuff is hard.
However, more times than not, you will benefit from delegation. Delegating is the concept of working smarter, not harder. It’s not that you want others to work harder than you, but you want everyone to succeed. Sometimes to reach your dreams, you have to enlist the help of others to be efficient enough to do so.
Delegating is not giving up. Instead, it is acknowledging that you cannot do it all. Delegating is loving yourself and your time enough to let others help you. Remember to take care of yourself. You deserve a break.
